Shipping and Delivery Policy

Flowers Valley LLC offers local flower delivery in the San Francisco Bay Area, including selected areas of Contra Costa County, Alameda County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Marin County, Solano County, Sonoma County, Napa County, and the Sacramento metropolitan area.

Delivery availability, delivery fees, and delivery timing depend on the delivery address, distance from our studio, order value, delivery date, delivery window, courier availability, traffic, weather, and other operational factors.

Delivery Address and Service Area

The delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Please enter the full and correct delivery address, including apartment number, suite number, gate code, building name, business name, hospital room number, or any other delivery instructions needed to complete the delivery.

Flowers Valley LLC is not responsible for failed, delayed, or misdirected deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery information provided at checkout.

Same-Day and Scheduled Delivery

Orders placed before the published same-day cutoff may be eligible for same-day delivery, depending on product availability, delivery address, courier availability, and order volume.

Same-day delivery is not guaranteed until the order is accepted and confirmed by Flowers Valley LLC. Orders placed after the same-day cutoff may be scheduled for the next available delivery date.

Delivery windows are estimates and are not guaranteed exact arrival times. Delivery timing may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, third-party courier availability, recipient availability, building access, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout and may vary based on delivery distance, order value, delivery zone, delivery date, courier availability, and current promotions.

Our current delivery rate structure may include distance-based delivery fees, per-mile charges, minimum delivery fees, free delivery thresholds, extra-mile delivery charges, or promotional free delivery offers. Delivery rates are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

The delivery fee shown at checkout is the applicable delivery fee for your order at the time of purchase.

Free Delivery and Promotional Delivery Offers

From time to time, Flowers Valley LLC may offer free delivery or discounted delivery as part of a promotion, subscription offer, gift subscription, special collection, seasonal campaign, or other limited-time offer.

Free delivery is only available when it is clearly shown at checkout or specifically included in the applicable offer. Free delivery may be limited by delivery zone, order value, product type, subscription type, delivery date, or other conditions stated in the offer.

Third-Party Delivery Providers

Flowers Valley LLC may use third-party delivery management platforms and third-party delivery providers to complete local delivery orders. These providers may include Zapiet, Shipday, Uber, DoorDash, Roadie, DeliverThat, UniHop, Speedster, or similar providers.

Flowers Valley LLC is responsible for preparing the floral product ordered by the customer. Third-party delivery providers are independent service providers used to pick up, route, and deliver orders.

Delivery timing and completion may be affected by third-party provider availability, traffic, weather, road conditions, recipient availability, restricted building access, incorrect delivery information, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Recipient Availability and Delivery Access

The customer is responsible for making sure the recipient is available to receive the delivery or that there is a safe and appropriate place to leave the order.

If the recipient is unavailable, does not answer, refuses the delivery, provides restricted access, or if the delivery location cannot be safely accessed, the order may be delayed, returned, left in a safe location, or require redelivery.

Additional delivery fees may apply for redelivery. Refunds, credits, replacements, or redelivery may be limited or unavailable if the delivery issue is caused by recipient unavailability, restricted access, incorrect information, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Hospital, Medical Facility, and Restricted Location Deliveries

We cannot guarantee delivery to Intensive Care Units (ICU), Critical Care Units (CCU), or other restricted areas of hospitals or medical facilities due to hospital policies.

If the intended recipient is in a restricted hospital unit or another location where delivery is not permitted, we may hold the order until the recipient is moved to a regular room or until another suitable delivery arrangement is made.

Because flowers are perishable, delays caused by hospital restrictions, recipient status, or facility rules may affect the availability or condition of certain flowers. We will make reasonable efforts to prepare and deliver the freshest available products once delivery becomes possible.

Floral Messages and Recipient Notes

Customers may include a personal message with their floral order. These messages are intended only for the customer and recipient. Flowers Valley LLC treats card messages and recipient notes as private order information and uses them only to complete and personalize the order.

Substitution Policy

Flowers are natural, seasonal, and perishable products. Availability may vary due to weather, seasonality, market conditions, supplier availability, flower quality, color availability, and other factors outside our control.

Product photos on our website may represent the overall style, color palette, size, mood, and design direction of an arrangement. The finished arrangement may not be an exact copy of the photo.

If specific flowers, colors, vases, containers, or materials are unavailable, Flowers Valley LLC may make substitutions while preserving the overall style, theme, color palette, and value of the arrangement as closely as possible. Substitutions will be made with flowers, greenery, containers, or materials of equal or greater value whenever reasonably possible.

For designer’s choice arrangements, seasonal arrangements, sympathy designs, event-inspired arrangements, and other custom floral products, substitutions may be made at the florist’s discretion to ensure freshness, quality, and timely fulfillment.

Substitutions do not automatically qualify an order for a refund, replacement, or credit as long as the delivered arrangement is consistent with the overall style, color palette, value, and purpose of the selected product.

Delivery Issues, Wrong Items, and Third-Party Delivery Errors

If your order is not delivered, is delivered to the wrong address, arrives damaged, or the wrong item is delivered because of an error by a third-party delivery provider, please contact us as soon as possible at shop@theflowersvalley.com or +1 (707) 893-9581.

Please include your order number, delivery address, photos if available, and a clear description of the issue. Because flowers are perishable and time-sensitive, delivery issues must be reported as soon as possible after the scheduled delivery time. Reports made too late may limit our ability to investigate the issue or offer a resolution.

We will review the issue using available order records, delivery records, delivery-provider documentation, photos, customer communications, and any other relevant information. Depending on the circumstances, Flowers Valley LLC may, at its discretion, offer a replacement, redelivery, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.

Refunds or credits issued by a third-party delivery provider to Flowers Valley LLC do not automatically determine the refund, credit, or other remedy owed to the customer. Flowers Valley LLC will determine the customer resolution based on the order, delivery records, documentation, the nature of the issue, and applicable law.

Limitation of Liability for Delivery Issues

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flowers Valley LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or event-related damages arising from delivery delays, failed deliveries, third-party delivery errors, substitutions, wrong-item deliveries, misdeliveries, or damaged deliveries.

This includes, but is not limited to, lost income, missed events, emotional distress, replacement purchases from another vendor, or any losses beyond the amount paid for the affected order.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
