Receiving fresh flowers is one of life’s little luxuries—let’s make that moment last. Whether your arrangement arrives wrapped in our signature Aqua Box, nestled in an elegant flower box, or already styled in a vase, a few simple steps will keep blooms vibrant and beautiful for days.
1. Bouquets in Wrap (Aqua Box Delivery)
Our Aqua Box keeps stems hydrated during transit, but it isn’t a substitute for a proper vase at home. When your wrapped bouquet arrives:
First, unwrap gently—peel back the paper or cellophane without tugging on petals or foliage.
Next, loosen any ties so stems can settle naturally.
Trim each stem 1–2 inches at a 45° angle with clean, sharp shears—this opens up the stem’s water channels.
Fill a clean vase with room-temperature water and the included flower food (or a teaspoon of sugar plus a few drops of bleach if you’re all out).
Arrange your blooms, making sure no leaves sit below the waterline (they invite bacteria).
Refresh the water—and re-trim the stems—every two days to keep your bouquet drinking freely.
2. Flower Boxes
Our chic flower boxes use water-soaked floral foam or a sealed reservoir to cradle stems, but they still need your attention:
Locate the hydration port under the lid and top up with room-temperature water every 24–48 hours until the foam feels fully saturated.
Keep the box in a cool, shaded spot, away from direct sun, vents, or ripening fruit (ethylene gas accelerates wilting).
Remove any petals or blooms that fade early to preserve the health of the rest.
For a fresh look, you can carefully remove stems from the foam after about a week—trim and transfer to a vase with fresh water and flower food.
3. Pre-Arranged Vase Arrangements
When flowers arrangements arrive ready-to-display in a vase, they’ve been expertly cut and arranged for ideal water uptake:
Do not disturb the arrangement—re-trimming or rearranging can interrupt water flow.
Check the water level daily and top up with fresh, room-temperature water and flower food.
Every three days, empty and rinse the vase to remove any bacterial buildup before refilling.
Position the vase in a stable, cool area—avoid heaters, direct sunlight, and drafty spots to slow down bloom exhaustion.
